Description: I named this necklace for the resemblance of its segments to the prayer wheels used by Buddhists, which is fitting considering how meditative and centering the process of creating them is for me.
The segments are created from Japanese glass seed beads with a needle and thread, one bead at a time, using a handweaving technique called "gourd stitch". They are complemented by Czech firepolished glass beads, sterling silver beadcaps, and a sterling silver chain and clasp.
